Google Earth brings its flight simulator mode to the web

Google Earth

Google Earth will make it easier for you to visualize taking to the sky with an update being introduced to the web version of the app. Google Earth on the web is getting the desktop app's flight simulator mode for free. It can run instantly without needing any flight training.

You can try it out yourself by heading to Google Earth on your browser and clicking on Explore Earth. Look for a place you want to fly through, then select Tools > Flight simulator. You can navigate using a mouse or the keyboard.

The simulator will need a fairly new Windows or macOS machine to run smoothly, as it requires a lot of data to stream as you fly. You can check out controls and other requirements here.
