'Troubleshooting' mode spotted in Google Gemini

BartokGabi17 / X

Google Gemini might help you work through a problem with things like your car without having to refer to a manual. User testingcatalog on X shared a new "Troubleshooting" mode showing up in the model picker menu for some users.

The feature explains troubleshooting steps through a combination of text output and interactive widgets. The example given was the AI assistant offering advice on how to start their cars. It seems to be providing a more general cause behind the issue and giving a few options as advice. You can tell Gemini the issue you've encountered and share the symptoms your car is exhibiting using the options the assistant offers, allowing it to provide additional help.

It's unclear whether the feature is available for testing or was accidentally enabled by the company. So, don't worry if it isn't showing up for you at the moment. If it gets rolled out, it might prove to be a useful addition to the assistant.
