Samsung introduces new lighter, more portable Galaxy Z Fold8

As seen in the leaks, Samsung has officially unveiled a new, more compact version of its book-style foldable. The new Galaxy Z Fold8 is being marketed by the tech giant as its lightest Fold model yet, coming in at 201 grams.
The proportions make it seem like a small datebook. It features a 10:16 outer screen and a 4:3 inner display, making it easier to view 16:9 content, such as shows and videos, and to play games. Turn the unfolded screen sideways, and you get the perfect size for reading, as it gets a similar dimension to e-readers.
The new Galaxy Z Fold8 runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and comes with a 4,800mAh battery. There are dual 50-megapixel cameras on the back of the device that support dual recording and a My FanCam mode that can automatically track a moving subject, which, if it lives up to its name, would make for a good concert companion.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 comes in graphite, cream, and the online exclusive colours of lavender and pistachio. Its retail price starts at $2,399.99 for the 256GB model.
