A new update has started rolling out will allow you to watch Disney+ content on Google Assistant-supported smart displays like the Nest Hub and the Nest Hub Max. All you need to do is issue a voice command like, "Hey Google, play The Mandalorian on Disney+."

Microsoft is trying to appeal to developers and more technical users by bringing Edge to Linux next month. However, the Chromium-powered browser will only be available as a developer preview first. And those who want to get it will need to go through the Edge Insider website or on the Linux package manager.
Edge on Linux will offer the same features available on the browser engine that powers Google Chrome. Microsoft added more privacy features, though, to allow you more control over how websites track you. It also has features like Collections, which lets you organize the information you get across the web.

Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 6:35AM Data breaches are incidents we, unfortunately, can't escape. But the Ottawa-based Shopify's data breach occurred within the company. Shopify revealed in a blog post that two "rogue" members of its support team were caught "in a scheme to obtain customer transactional records of certain merchants."
Shopify claims less than 200 merchants were affected, but it isn't known how much data was stolen. The company is quick to say that payment information like credit card and account numbers weren't affected. But customer information and order details of what was purchased were accessed. Shopify didn't name the stores involved, but it has informed the sellers. So, best keep an eye out on your inbox to see if you've been affected by the breach.

Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at 11:19AM One of the lesser-known additions to iOS 14 is the option to set your default apps for email and web browsing from Apple's offerings. Chrome on iOS can already be your default browser, but some users seem to have issues where a bug resets it back to Safari when the iPhone restarts. Now, Gmail's newest version (ver. 6.0.200825) can become the default choice on iOS, too.
To make the switch, head to the settings page on your iPhone or iPad and select Gmail. From there, click the Default Mail App option and swap it from the default Mail app.
