'Far Cry 6' lands on Feb. 18, 2021

Ubisoft's Far Cry 6 announcement might have gotten leaked earlier, but the official launch sheds more light about the upcoming sequel to Far Cry New Dawn. Now we know the game is launching on February 18, 2021. It'll be available for the Sony PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, Microsoft Xbox Series X and Xbox One, Google Stadia, PC via Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store, and Uplay+. If you buy the PS4 or Xbox One game, you can upgrade to the next-generation PS5 or Xbox Series X versions.

As revealed in the leak, you will play resistance fighter Dani Rojas who is trying to take down President Antón Castillo (played by Breaking Bad's Giancarlo Esposito) and, possibly, his son Diego (Coco's Anthony Gonzalez). Ubisoft hasn't revealed much about game mechanics yet. You will get weapons like a disc launcher (which comes with the pre-order pack) and a for-hire "wiener dog on wheels." Make of that what you will.

Fitbit Charge 4 update brings Smart wake, Dynamic GPS

Fitbit Charge 4 gets a couple of significant features the company has introduced into its smartwatches. The first one is the Smart Wake option, which uses the sleep tracker to help you set the alarm to wake you up when you feel the most rested. With sleep disrupted profoundly by the COVID-19 pandemic, this feature is particularly useful. If you can spare the time (you should really), this feature might be an excellent way to wake you up in the morning.

Another is Dynamic GPS, which lets you connect the tracker with the GPS on your phone when it's in range. This function helps preserve the Charge 4's battery life as well as improve location accuracy. The fitness tracker also now lets you decide how long the display stays on when it has been awakened. The Fitbit Charge 4's official retail price is $199.95, but it's currently on sale over at Fitbit's site at $169.95.

Google Nest teases 'special appearance' on Monday

This is what the next Google Nest speaker will supposedly look like. (Mishaal Rahman/Twitter)

Google Nest has something up its sleeve today. And some are speculating it's the arrival of a new Google Nest speaker, featuring a boxy cylindrical shape. The teasers the Google Nest team released on Twitter kept things vague, so we can't precisely glean what they are. Some are saying it might be a month-long sale, instead of a new device. But with a teaser that says, "Help has many faces," others think we might get a product of sorts. We would hope it's a bit of both.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G leaked in new 'Mystic Bronze' colour

Samsung has been rumoured to be developing a 5G variant of the Galaxy Z Flip. The foldable phone launched last year as an LTE model only. But this time, we've heard talks of a 5G variant. Reliable phone leaker Evan Blass shared the upcoming device in a new colourway called "Mystic Bronze." It looks almost identical to the LTE model, but it'll supposedly be taller and thicker and run on Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 865 Plus processor. Everything else, though, will reportedly be the same. Samsung has an Unpacked event on August 5, and if these constant barrage of rumours are anything to go by, we might see this device at the online launch.
