New Samsung leaks are about next Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Buds

It looks like Samsung is solving a branding dilemma again by skipping another model name. The company's latest smartwatch was the Galaxy Watch Active 2 introduced in September, which was the successor of the Galaxy Watch Active. And that, in turn, succeeded the original Galaxy Watch. So, the expectation is the next Samsung wearable would be the Galaxy Watch 2. The presumption is the "Active" line is separate from the main Galaxy Watch line. But new leaks suggest the company is just opting to call its next smartwatch the Galaxy Watch 3 to avoid confusing it with the Galaxy Watch Active 2. (Similar to how the company skipped model numbers to launch the Galaxy S20.)

MySmartPrice saw the name surfaced on Thailand's NTBC certification site. It's the country's regulatory body that certifies devices. And then it was spotted by XDA-Developers on Samsung's app. An image asset on the Galaxy Wearable app mentions the smartwatch specifically, despite the company not confirming its name yet.

Google Assistant directly responds to question 'Do Black lives matter'

Earlier last week, Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced the tech giant's support for the Black community. He vowed they were working to "develop initiatives and product ideas that support long-term solutions." One of these product ideas has shown up on Google Assistant.

If you ask it, "Hey Google, do Black lives matter?" It will reply, "Black lives matter. Black people deserve the same freedoms afforded to everyone in this country, and recognizing the injustice they face is the first step towards fixing it." And if you ask it, "Do all lives matter?" It'll have a concise response, too: "Saying 'Black lives matter' doesn't mean that all lives don't. It means Black lives are at risk in ways others are not."

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, it comes as no surprise that rumours are going around that Samsung will be moving its upcoming Unpacked event online. The company will reportedly unveil its Galaxy Note 20 lineup on August 5. We're expecting to see the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra (which will reportedly replace the Note 20+).

Aside from that, Samsung will supposedly launch the Galaxy Fold 2 as well. Samsung leaker Ice Universe said on Chinese blogging site Weibo that there are even more devices expected to be showcased during the Unpacked event, including the Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Tab S7, Tab S7+, as well as the Galaxy Watch 2. If there's any truth to these rumours, we can expect a pretty packed Unpacked event.
