Apple will reportedly offer Apple Card users monthly payment plans for iPad, Mac

Apple already offers installment payment plan for iPhones, with cashback included. Now, the company supposedly plans to expand this offering to iPad, Mac, or other Apple accessory purchases. The payments will be managed through the iPhone Wallet app's Apple Card section, and, as with other credit cards, it'll be added to your monthly Apple Card bills.

The company will reportedly offer a 12-month, interest-free plan for the iPad, Mac, Apple Pencil, iPad keyboard, and Mac XDR Display monitor, or a six-month, interest-free option for AirPods, HomePod, and Apple TV. Apple hasn't confirmed the news, but we'll be monitoring the story for any updates.

Google Play Music library transfer to YouTube Music goes live for some users

As Google works to transition its users from Google Play Music to YouTube Music, one crucial aspect is importing libraries. A recent story from Droid Life reports that the ability to transfer your content is now available, at least for some users. You can check if it's available on your account through this link: music.youtube.com/transfer. You'll just need to click on a single button at the bottom of the screen to start the process.

The capability should be available on the YouTube Music app, but it doesn't seem to be available there for some users. They tried using the web portal (which we linked to above) and got it to work. Google appears to be rolling this feature in waves, so if you don't have it yet, keep checking in.

Facebook on Android preps dark mode, coronavirus tracker

Facebook has been slowly adding a dark mode to its different apps. Its main app on mobile hasn't gotten the feature yet—until these new screenshots show the feature arriving in its Android app, that is.

9to5Google shows screenshots of the yet-to-be-released dark mode on Facebook mobile. You can opt to enable it within the app or adopt your phone's universal dark mode settings. Dark mode on Facebook is a lot greyer than black, but that's still enough to help with lessening its strain on your battery or your eyes when you use it in low-lit areas.
