Here’s a better look at the Samsung Galaxy A8s

Yesterday we were talking about the almost all-screen phones we could expect from both Samsung and Huawei. Today we get a better look at the Samsung Galaxy A8s as the phone is getting its necessary clearance from China’s TENAA. It doesn’t reveal new details about the phone that hasn’t already been leaked. But we do get a better look at the front and rear of the phone. You see the 24-megapixel selfie camera hidden inside the tiny cutout on the top left corner of the 6.39-inch Infinity-O display. At the back, we see the rumoured triple camera setup: 24-megapixel main with f/1.7 aperture, 10-megapixel telephoto with f/2.4 aperture, and 5-megapixel depth with f/2.2 aperture. There’s also a fingerprint sensor and a white with deep blue gradient colour scheme. The phone is rumoured to be getting a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor with 6GB of RAM and 3,300mAh battery.

Samsung, Huawei tease upcoming all-screen phones with tiny cutouts

Trying to solve the notch issue has some manufacturers flexing their creative muscles a bit. One of the implementations we’re going to be seeing in the coming weeks come from Samsung and Huawei. Both companies have teased images of its upcoming Galaxy A8s and nova 4, respectively. Both sporting tiny cutouts for the front-facing camera, eliminating the need for a notch but still getting an almost full-screen experience sans extra movable parts. We’re going to hear more about these phones when Samsung launches the Galaxy A8s on December 10 (at least according to a post from their Weibo account) and on December 17 when Huawei launches the nova 4.

Bethesda support site for ‘Fallout 76’ leaks customer information

If you think things couldn’t get any worse for Bethesda, well, they just did. The latest issue has customers reporting that they’re getting access to other customers’ personal data when they submit support tickets through Bethesda’s support site. Earlier in the week, Bethesda told customers to file claims on the support site if they’d purchased the Power Armor edition of Fallout 76 and want their canvas bags replaced. What this prompted though, is that some customers got information they shouldn’t have access to, like addresses, emails, and some even partial credit card information. Bethesda resolved the issue after taking the site down for a bit. But there will expectedly be fallout (pun unintended) from this latest trouble and Bethesda has to pick up the pieces once again.
