You can now use GIFs as your Tinder profile picture

Think a static Tinder profile photo is too bland? Well, you can use GIFs, if you’re on iOS, that is. The dating app is testing out this new feature here in Canada, Sweden, the US, UK, and many other countries. Tinder is calling it Loops and it is as the name suggests Loops a two-second clip of you doing something you love or showing off your personality. You can record a clip or use an existing video. If you want to use an existing video, all you need to do is tap on the “Add Media” button. Once you have that, select the part you want to loop and then add that to your profile. Easy-peasy.

‘Far Cry 5’ update adds photo mode

It took over three months but finally Far Cry 5 gets a photo mode. Title Update 8 brings the feature to the game, letting you pause at any point to take the shot you want. As Kotaku points out, it doesn’t have as many options as Assassin’s Creed: Origins’s photo mode but you at least get the basics. You can flip the camera around and even take a shot of your character (despite this being a first-person game). It also has focus and aperture adjustment and you can change the way the game world looks (like what time of day it is or whether any person or animal appears beside you. There are also filters to choose from. So far, this is the big feature to come with this update but there are also some bug fixes as well as new assets for the game’s online multiplayer mode, Far Cry Arcade.
