HTC U11 to get Android 8.0 Oreo update starting November 27

We reported last month that HTC was reportedly releasing the Android 8.0 Oreo update for the HTC U11 between the end of November and early December. And it looks like HTC is fulfilling this wish. HTC’s Mo Versi just announced on Twitter that the Oreo operating system update is coming to the unlocked versions of the HTC U11 starting today, November 27. So if you own an unlocked version of the device, keep your eye out for that. The other HTC devices expected to get Android 8.0 update include the U Ultra and HTC 10. No word yet when those two devices are getting the update, though.

Review: Google Pixel Buds

By Gadjo Cardenas Sevilla

Few gadgets have been as anticipated as Google's Pixel Buds. These are neck buds which feature Google features and services and are Google's answer to Apple's popular and iconic AirPods.

Just like the AirPods, the Google Pixel Buds are designed to work best with the latest and greatest flagship Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones, although they make pretty good Bluetooth headphones for almost any Android and iOS smartphone.

‘Tamagotchi’ is making a comeback, comes to Android and iOS

For someone who grew up playing with the original Tamagotchi, this latest news from Bandai Namco Entertainment and developer Paladin Studios is tugging at my heart strings. With a lot of the classic games getting rebooted lately, it’s not exactly surprising that the beloved pixel-based pet is getting a 2017 refresh. Called My Tamagotchi Forever, the free-to-play game is coming to both Android and iOS next year. The great news is it has soft launched here already.

Just like the original game, you’re going to have to take care of your little pet. Feed it when it’s hungry, bathe it when it gets dirty, etc. Of course, it’ll alert you when it needs attention and that means you get one more distraction to ping you on your phone. The game will introduce different game modes and mini games to help you earn coins you can use within the game. You can, if you want, shell out actual money to use within the game. And just like everything else, you can share your Tamagotchi moments with friends.
