Apple's iPhone X is hours away from being made available for pre-order (starting at 12:01 a.m. PDT on October 27!).

This is one of the most anticipated products to come to market in a long time and showcases Apple's vision for the mobile industry going forward. Expected to be in short supply because of overwhelming demand, iPhone X online orders are expected to go briskly. They ship and will be available to in stores on November 3.

Amazon redesigns Kindle app

You might have noticed a new look to Amazon’s Kindle app. If you haven’t, well, we’re bringing your attention to it. The app from the icon to its user interface has a newer, sleeker look. There are new things like larger book covers, new fonts, as well as a new light or dark background theme options. The bottom bar has been revamped too to show what book you’re currently reading, making it easier to go back to what you’ve been reading at any time. It also shows you Kindle’s more popular features like Home, Library, Store, and more. Search is also easier with the revamped app as it appears everywhere within the app. The redesign is available for both iOS and Android.

Staples Canada now offers unlocked iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus

If you’re interested in getting an iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus but don’t want to be tied to a carrier, then you might want to head to Staples Canada. You can buy unlocked versions of the two Apple smartphones on either a 24-month Equal Payment Plan or outright. It must be noted though that Staples says it’ll be available at select stores so make sure to check before you head out. But they are also offering it on their website.
