Android device users can now download Netflix shows on to their SD Cards

Netflix now makes it more convenient to enjoy movies, TV shows and original content on the go for Android users. WIth their latest Android update, Netflix subscribers are no longer limited by their device’s onboard storage and can now download the content into their MicroSD cards. Of course, this feature is moot if you have Nexus or Pixel device, or similar devices that don’t have expandable storage. It’s great to see Netflix giving users the ability to use expanded storage to enjoy shows offline.

Apple testing out Night Shift mode on macOS

Having the option to change the color temperature of the screen is a helpful feature, especially when it comes to reducing eye strain when using phones or computers at night.  That’s why apps like F.lux are popular with users. Now, if you use a macOS machine, you’ll no longer need a third-party app to get this feature. Night mode, or Night Shift mode as it’s known on iOS, is coming to macOS Sierra. Apple is testing it out in the new beta version of the operating system. Like its iOS counterpart, it’ll automatically change to a warmer tone after you set a schedule for it to do so (for example, when sunset comes). It’ll also let you adjust the colors if they aren’t adjusted to your liking. Version 10.12.4 has the feature but it hasn’t been said when it’ll be rolled out to all users. Hopefully, it won’t take too long.

New details about ‘Stranger Things 2’ get revealed

Netflix

It’s pretty hard to get details on the Netflix hit Stranger Things and its second season. At least that’s what we thought until David Harbour, who plays chief of police Jim Hopper, shares some new details about the show. He tells us a bit about what to expect but at the same time, we really don’t know what we'd be getting when the show airs the summer of this year.

One of the new details Harbour shares is that it’ll happen two years after Will comes back and most of the people in their town still don’t know what happened. Barb is still missing and it seems Nancy (played by Natalia Dyer) is the only one who cares. Aside from this, Joyce Byers (played by Winona Ryder) has a new boyfriend that’ll be played by Sean Astin. And Harbour quips that this happens “much to the chagrin of the chief of police.” The original cast will be making a comeback this season and we should expect a “darker” tale. We can’t wait.
