Facebook adds HD video uploading support for Android

Sometimes Facebook doesn’t announce changes and updates they make to its apps, including this latest addition to its Android app. The social media app now lets Android users upload HD videos to their accounts. The new option shows up in the settings for most Android users. But it isn’t available to all users yet. Some of the other new video-related features include picture-in-picture video, having specific resolution options for uploading (from 720p to 360p), and the ability to download clips for offline viewing.

Looks like the Apple AirPods won’t be ready for the holidays

The release of the Apple AirPods doesn’t look like it’ll happen in the near future. A recent Wall Street Journal report claims issues with how the wireless earpieces receive wireless signals via Bluetooth. But Apple blogger John Gruber disputes this claim and says the prototype AirPods he got were working fine and he questions the veracity of the WSJ’s report saying the delay was caused by faulty wireless technology. Gruber speculates the delays could be due to a manufacturing issue at scale.

This isn’t the first time the AirPods’s release has been delayed. It was initially supposed to be released back in October but was pushed back without a clear reason from Apple. Now, if you were expecting to gift or be gifted a pair this Christmas, you’ll have to wait a bit more.
