Full STEAM ahead for Season 2 of Netflix's Project Mc2 aimed at tween girls

When the creators of Project Mc2 started shaping up the series they had a goal in mind. To show girls around the world that science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) is everywhere in our everyday lives and that it all can be relatable and fun. They also wanted to show that it's a realm that doesn't have one stereotypical image but yes, you can be pretty, funny, sporty and still be smart because "smart is the new cool."

Season 1 launched in August 2015 exclusive to Netflix aimed at girls in the tween years. The spy mini-series followed four teens from various backgrounds and interests who form a spy agency NOV8 ("innovate") and use their super sleuthing abilities to help solve mysteries. With a chief intelligent agent (played by real life STEM advocate Danica McKellar of the Wonder Years) they set out on missions to save the day.

Square Enix outs free-to-play ‘Mobius Final Fantasy’ for your smartphone

The new Mobius Final Fantasy game is one of the few times Square Enix outs a free-to-play game, especially one that’s geared towards your Android and/or iOS devices. This “custom-tailored for mobile platforms” game is made by the likes of producer Yoshinori Kitase and writer Kazushige Nojima, who’ve penned both Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy X.

Mobius Final Fantasy is an RPG that offers in-depth character customization options with a “job system” that will let you specialize in a specific area, which you can combine with different classes and help you in the turn-based battle system within the game. There will be upcoming releases within the game and it’ll be released in chapters to offer things like new in-game events, avatar items, and playable content. The in-app purchase option available for the game is for Magicite, which is the game’s version of in-world currency. It’ll let you use real-world currency to help replenish your money within the game.

LG’s Android Nougat-based V20 to be unveiled on Sept. 6th in San Francisco

We recently got word that one of the first, if not the first, non-Nexus phone to get Android Nougat would be the LG V20. Now, the successor to the V10 gets a launch date: September 6th in San Francisco and September 7th in Seoul, South Korea. It might be a simultaneous launch when you consider time differences or it could be one after the other.

As expected, specs and information are scant at this point and we can only rely on rumours about the device at the moment but Android Community hypothesizes that the V20 might be modular as well with the tagline “Play more” attached to the invite. The modular phone, the G5, when it was launched had the phrase “Life is good if you play more” phrase attached to it. Right now, rumoured specs of the V20 include a possible lower resolution display than the V10, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or 821 chipset, 32GB or 64GB versions with microSD expansion of up to 256GB, 3GB or 4GB of RAM, and a new 20-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
