Facebook for iOS finally lets you switch between accounts

Managing multiple Facebook accounts is now easier for iOS users, too. Facebook has enabled account switching within Facebook’s family of apps (FB, Messenger, and Instagram, to be specific). So, if you manage multiple accounts, such as those for your business, you can just add the extra account you handle. You’ll be able to see the option under Profile > Switch Account > plus sign to add the new account.

Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing unveil gorgeous hypercar

The new Aston Martin AM-RB 001 is what happens when you bring two powerhouse automotive giants. The concept version of the hypercar was unveiled on Tuesday showing off the amazing skills of Red Bull’s aerodynamics engineer/genius Adrian Newey. They call it a road-legal Formula One car but instead of using the hybrid V6 powertrain, it’ll be using a 1,000-horsepower V12 engine. Its downforce will be generated by the body, more specifically the shape of the car’s underbody, so you won’t see massive wings on this one. It’ll come with two seats and is designed to be both a true road car and a vehicle capable of performing magnificently on track.

We won’t see the interiors of the car just yet but Aston Martin customers have been showing interest already. According to its CEO Dr Andy Palmer, at least 370 customers have shown interest in the supercar. They originally planned to release 99 AM-RB 001 road cars that’ll cost between £2 and £3 million (CA$3.3 and $5 million) but now they plan a limited run of 150 road cars and 25 track-only vehicles.

‘Badland 2’ comes to Android

Months after Badland 2 comes to iOS, it’s finally made its way to Android. But it wasn’t brought in by its independent developer Frogmind, Cheetah Mobile is the one to bring the addictive side-scrolling, physics-based game to Android. It comes as a freemium app and still maintains the gameplay but with better graphics and even more challenging levels. And since it’s freemium, it means there will be tempting in-app purchases to help you get out of tough situations. The cost can range from US$0.99 to $9.99, which can be pretty sizable if you don’t practice restraint. The app costs US$3.99 on iOS but it doesn’t come with any in-app purchase options.

Send files to an offline recipient on Skype

Microsoft Skype is getting a new useful feature that’ll help it keep up with the numerous messaging apps out there. You can now send over files to someone else without them having to be online. So, if you send a co-worker a file over the weekend, he/she can see that file once Monday comes in. It lets you access the files across multiple devices, too, so you can read the same document no matter what device you’re on. You can send up to 300MB files, which is quite sizable already. If you have the latest version of Skype, you should get this feature automatically.
