Samsung tipped to be releasing foldable smartphone next year

via GIPHY

Hoping to stay ahead and even pull away from the pack, Samsung is rumoured to be releasing an unusually shaped smartphone in 2017. According to Korean tech site ETNews, the device will reportedly look like a regular 5-inch device at first but once unfolded it will expand up to seven inches. It’s not said how Samsung plans to implement this and the company won’t comment on the veracity of the rumour. But Samsung filed a patent back in March for a phone with a “rollable” screen. But then again rumours about flexible displays have been around for a while so make sure to still take this rumour with a grain of salt.

At this point though, it is important for tech companies to think up the next big thing as current flagships are usually more iterations or slightly better versions of previous devices, there is a need to make more innovative device to fuel growth in the market.

Teleport shows you your ideal city to live in

Getting tired of your current town or city? A new free web app called Teleport wants to take out the guesswork of where you should move next. It’ll give suggestions based on parameters of your choosing. It’ll have you pick things like living costs, startup scene, great university, etc. You just need to sign up first. From your selection, it’ll show you an initial list of cities to choose from. You can refine your pick further by controlling preferences like weather, population size, etc. It even shows you estimated budget you need or what you can save if you move to a particular city.

If you decide to move to one of these cities, Teleport can even create a checklist to make sure you have everything you need for the move. And if you need help, for a fee, the company can provide what they call a scout to help with things like finding a job or getting the necessary papers like visa.

Lines get divided further in new 'Civil War' trailer

With Batman v. Superman done, Captain America: Civil War is ramping up promotions. The latest trailer shows Steve Rogers a.k.a. Captain America and Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man fighting for their sides. With Cap thinking that the "safest hands are still our own" and Iron Man doing "what has to be done to stop something worse." And someone seems to be playing both sides, if this new trailer is any indication. What do you think?
