Buick Cascada convertible coming to dealers next month

Buick's Cascada convertible is a return to reasonably priced open top motoring for families. This is Buick's first convertible since the 1991 Reatta and is a four-seat non-luxury, non-sport car coming to US dealers next month at US $33,900.

"Convertible buyers tend to be very loyal, but a lot of the competition has vacated the market," said Tony DiSalle, Buick-GMC vice president of marketing. I got to see the Cascada a few weeks ago in Detroit prior to the North American International Auto Show.

Apple Watch Hermès collection now available online 

After being made available in limited quantities in specific Apple Retail Stores, the Apple Watch Hermès edition can now be purchased online for shipping or pick up at a nearby Apple Store. There are 10 models of this line of Apple Watch featuring a distinct Hermès watchface and font plus special bands from the famed French fashion house. Apple Watch Hermès collection is the first major collaboration between Apple and an established high fashion brand.

Facebook introduces new 3D Touch features

Soon enough, it’ll be easier to navigate through the Facebook app. Facebook’s currently releasing to a small number of users new 3D Touch features to make previewing things like profiles, photos, and web links. This new feature will let you peek and pop into profiles, take a closer look at photos, and preview everything from web links, groups, pages, and events. Facebook’s icon is also getting a new shortcut that will let you head directly to your timeline. The widespread rollout of these features are expected to come over the next few months.

Atari to bring 100 classic games to PC age

It’s time to put away or on display your old Atari console. Atari plans to bring 100 “iconic, fan-favorite” games to the PC. Called the Atari Vault, it will include games like Asteroids, Centipede, Missile Command, Tempest, and Warlords. These games will feature updated user interfaces, new online and local multiplayer options, and Steam Controller support. But what won’t change is the classic ‘70s and ‘80s soundtracks to take you back to that age of gaming. Atari Vault will also let you challenge other players on Steam Leaderboards to give you the ultimate bragging rights of being the best arcade player (if you are, that is).

Atari will be previewing Atari Vault at PAX South 2016 in Texas from January 29 to 31. Code Mystics is said to be developing the collection and will launch in Spring 2016.
