Aaron Sorkin takes offence with Tim Cook’s comments about the ‘Steve Jobs’ movie

Aaron Sorkin has some biting words for Apple CEO Tim Cook as he criticized the latest Steve Jobs biopic that he penned. Cook called the movie “opportunistic” in an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. “I think that a lot of people are trying to be opportunistic, and I hate this; it’s not a great part of our world. The Steve I knew was an amazing human being,” Cook said.

SwiftKey beta fixes font bug on Android Marshmallow

SwiftKey updated its beta app to fix a bug that rendered the key fonts and icons hardly readable for some Android Marshmallow preview builds. Now, it’s back to normal size, making it easier for you to type/swipe away on your keyboard. The latest beta also stops support for Gingerbread or other older devices. If you’re interested in being part of the SwiftKey beta program, you have to join this Google Group and select the “Become a Tester” link.

Selfies have killed more people than shark attacks in 2015

Our vanity’s being taken to an entirely different and dangerous level. Mashable released a story claiming there have been more selfie-related deaths than shark attacks so far in 2015. Twelve people already died while attempting to take selfies and eight have passed away following a shark attack. Although Digital Trends got in touch with George Burgess, director of shark research at the Florida Museum of Natural History, and he said the number of shark attack-related deaths are at six. This means selfies are twice as dangerous then. Selfies are all fun and good but please, if you think you’re attempting something to risky, let’s just save that vanity for another time.
