Sphero's B-88 droid is the closest thing to a real Star Wars droid

B-88 is the rolling droid to be featured in the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie. The new film, created under Disney's ownership, is introducing a whole new cast of characters as well as a droid for the new generation. The film's B-88 was co-developed with Sphero who has released an app-powered toy version of B-88. Unveiled today at various #ForceFriday toy unboxing, events, the B-88 is expected to be one of the hottest toys heading into the holidays. It will be available starting midnight tonight, if you can find one.

The Weeknd and more artists slated to perform at Apple Music Festival

Apple’s upcoming Music Festival has a few more big names to perform at the 10-day event. Those added to the roster of performers include The Weeknd, Take That, James Bay, Leon Bridges, and The Chemical Brothers. You can see the full roster of performers on the dedicated site as well as the schedules when they’ll be playing. Apple will probably unveil more of the acts in the coming days before the festival kicks off on September 19.
