Disney unveils official ‘Star Wars’ app

 

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is almost upon us. And Disney isn’t wasting any time for ramping up promotions of the movie. This time a new official Star Wars app (which is also the name of the app) has been launched for iOS and Android devices. It shows breaking news about the film, rich media, social updates, interactive features, and special events. Also, you get features like a countdown timer to big releases, Augmented Reality experiences, lightsaber training, and soundboard and GIF features that show off clips from the film. You can even take Star War selfies with some of the famous characters of the series, and you shall be dressed appropriately by the app. The Star Wars app is already available for download.

Revamped two-factor authentication coming to iOS 9 and El Capitan

User security and privacy is ever-present in Apple's mind so it comes as no surprise that the upcoming versions of iOS 9 and OS X El Capitan are going to feature stronger two-factor authentication procedures to ensure improved security.

As with previous methods, any device that you sign into using two-factor authentication in iOS 9 or El Capitan becomes a trusted device that can be used to verify identify when signing into other devices or services linked to an Apple ID.

New style of the Alcatel OneTouch Watch is now available for USD $149

A new style of the Alcatel OneTouch Watch wearable, which runs a proprietary OS and is compatible with iOS and Android, is now available in Canada. The white sport version of the Watch is available via alcatelonetouch.ca for $149.99 USD. This style is only available in the S/M (7.2-inch band).

Logitech unveils new logo and branding

Since 2013, Logitech, maker of mice, keyboards and mobile accessories and peripherals,  has been working behind the scenes on reinventing the company, shaking things up culturally and through its product innovation.
