Periscope will be coming to Android

Twitter recently launched Periscope on iOS. And people have been asking the company if they had any plans on bringing it to Android. Well, according to a blog post from the development team, that is happening. When this will happen isn't certain yet. But they are working on it.

If you don't know what Periscope is, it's an app that lets you broadcast live video streams from your mobile devices. People can also watch what you're streaming right from their mobile gadgets. Periscope allows users to send messages and chat while a live stream is ongoing. Twitter launched Periscope to compete with Meerkat, an app with a similar function that was gaining traction on Twitter's platform.

Samsung reacts to Samsung Galaxy S6 'bendgate' claims with a video

Ever since miscreants decided they could bend smartphones like the iPhone 6 by applying pressure at a specific point in the device's case, the overblown 'bendgate' issue has been one that smartphone makers have had to address. Now, it seems it is Samsung's turn. While their new Galaxy S6 has received a lot of praises, there are claims that it is also prone to easily bending (i.e. in one's pocket). Samsung is dispelling this claim by creating a video explaining how resilient their new handsets are. Check it out above.
