Next Apple TV will reportedly not yet support 4K video streaming

If you're waiting for Apple to add 4K support to its TV streaming box, then you might be in for a disappointment. According to a BuzzFeed report, Apple doesn't have plans yet to add 4K video streaming into the features available on the Apple TV. One of their sources familiar with Apple's way of thinking said that 4K is still in its infancy that's why they don't want to invest in it yet. BuzzFeed speculates that Apple might be holding back because the technology is cost-prohibitive as well.

Vine (finally) updates Windows Phone app

Yes, it took more than a year for Vine to pay attention to its Windows Phone app. But instead of complaining, we welcome the change. The company has finally updated its Windows Phone app. It now lets users import videos right from the camera and edit those clips in-app. Vine also gets a new look, loop count, and supports Vine messaging. The new version of the app is already available for download for Windows 8.1 devices.

Google+ Stories show up on Google Now

It would seem Google isn't ready to give up on Google+ just yet. A number of users have noticed that Google+ Stories have started to show up alongside their other Google Now cards. Google Stories are a collection of photos you uploaded based on time and location data. Think of it as a highlight reel of a specific event. The card on Google Now shows a photo preview, date, and how many items are in the album. The Story can be viewed or shared right from Google Now. There is no word from Google though when this'll be an official feature.
