Waze now estimates how long you'll be in traffic

Waze now measures how long you're going to be stuck in traffic. The Traffic Bar feature first made available on Android now makes its way to iOS. It takes into account traffic jams and gives you an estimate of how long you'll be in the jam for. Remember that since it's an estimate, it isn't 100 percent accurate.

The latest update also allows you to port your old account onto a new device once you decided to upgrade. This means your points get moved as well.

George R.R. Martin releases teaser of new 'Game of Thrones' book with new chapter

Hoping to quench fans's thirst (or agitate them further), author George R.R. Martin released a new chapter of the next book in the A Song of Ice and Fire saga. As you know, these books are the basis for the hit HBO show, Game of Thrones. The released chapter focuses on Sansa Stark, a now well-loved character.

Unfortunately, we aren't getting the rest of the book any time soon. Martin previously said the book won't be coming out this year so 2016 might be the earliest will get The Winds of Winter book. He is known to take his time with releasing GoT books. The gap between A Feast for Crows and the latest A Dance With Dragons was six years.

HTC brings Blinkfeed to older devices with Sense Home

HTC is porting some of the new features from the One M9 into its older devices with the new Sense Home app. It rolls in Blinkfeed, HTC Themes, and the Sense Home widget in one app. Themes pushes customization further for HTC devices. Through the app you can change things like colors, icons, and even wallpapers. The Sense Home widget will also show you apps you may need based on your location. However, HTC noted on the Google Play listing for Sense Home that some features will need Sense 7, which is currently only available on One M9. But they didn't say which features those are.
