Former Android head Andy Rubin to depart from Google

Google will be losing Andy Rubin, the co-founder of Android and head of nascent robotics business. Rubin will reportedly start a company that will support startups who will create technology hardware. Research scientist and robotics group member James Kuffner will replace Rubin. Last year, Sundar Pichai, the browser and applications head, replaced Rubin as head of Android division. The move placed the company’s mobile software, Chrome browser, and applications under one management.

TELUS adds Moto 360, Moto X (Bamboo), Sony Xperia Z3 to its lineup

TELUS is introducing new products to their lineup for those looking to try out Motorola’s new stylish smartwatch or get a new handset.

The Moto 360 is the first round-faced Android Wear device that is compatible with Moto X and other smartphones that run on Android 4.3 or higher. Sony Xperia Z3 now available at Rogers

If you’ve been waiting to get your hands on Sony’s latest flagship but wanted it to be part of a plan, Rogers has the answer for you. They will be offering the Xperia Z3 for $179.99 on select two-year Share Everything plans. For a limited time, those who activate a two-year Share Everything plan with the Xperia Z3 will get EA SPORTS NHL 15 for Sony PlayStation 4 for free. The Xperia Z3 will be available in black and copper.

Microsoft releases new Outlook for Mac for Office 365 members, new Office for Mac coming in 2015

A nice surprise today from Redmond to Mac users subscribing to Office 365. A new version of Outlook for the Mac is here and has the following features.
