The Apple Watch was 2014's most awaited product and Apple's newest product category since the iPad and it doesn't dissapoint in terms of looks and expected functionality.

Luxury design and finish, a whole new user interface unlike anything we've seen before, a sweet Digital Crown interface, new Watch OS, sapphire crystal, health tracking sensors and various new uses for emojis, NFC, walkie-talkie functionality and let's not forget Apple Pay. Here are my favourite photos of Apple Watch from the Apple Event.

Android Wear devices getting 4.4W1 over the air update

Android Wear device users should expect a minor although expected over the air software update. The 4.4W1 update coming to the Moto 360, LG G Watch and Samsung Gear Live brings a range of features and functionality. What we know of so far are the latest version of Google Maps with alternate destinations, built-in controls for multiple repeating alarms. This isn't yet the bigger expected update to Android Wear which Google says will enable users to, ".... listen to music stored on your watch via Bluetooth headphones. And if your watch includes a GPS sensor, you can track your distance and speed too."

Google opens two-hour window for return of Android apps

Google used to give people a 24-hour window to initiate a refund over an app they no longer want. But developers thought it was extreme so they cut that down to 15 minutes. Thinking that was too short, Google has decided to change it again to a two-hour window. Android users will now have a couple of hours to decide if the app they purchased is worth their money. They will refund you within that timeframe and if you still miss it, Google suggests you talk to the developer directly. Admittedly, two hours seems like enough time to tinker around with an app and decide if you want to keep the app or not.

HTC to host ‘Double Exposure’ event on Oct. 8

There are different theories floating around about what HTC’s upcoming “Double Exposure” event in New York City can be for. It can be a nod for HTC One M8’s DuoCamera system. Does this mean we’re getting a new phone right after IFA? Or could they finally be introducing their Android Wear device? I guess we just have to wait until October 8^th to find out what HTC has up its sleeve.
