Dell reveals 27-inch 5K monitor for $2,500

The '4K revolution' has been a little slow to migrate over from HDTVs to computer monitors but Dell's got something for the pixel-obsessed in their 27-inch 5K display which it is selling for US $2,500. Dell's boasting a 5120 x 2880 resolution at 218 pixels per inch, which is the equivalent of what MacBook Pro with Retina Displays have but scaled to 27-inches. As cutting edge as this monitor is, the high price does limit it to the professional segment of the market. This looks like a great companion display to a new Mac Pro.

Moto 360 sells out from Motorola.com, Best Buy in US and the Google Play Store

Well, that was fast. The first batch of Moto 360 devices which went up for sale or pre-order in the US have already been claimed. It seems pent up demand for Motorola's circular wearable, which launched yesterday was quite strong and everyone who might have been on the fence about Android Wear devices decided this device was the one to go for. Not only did the Moto 360 sell out of Motorola's online store, Google Play's store and even on Best Buy's US website. Can we expect the same amount of buyer enthusiasm when Moto 360 comes to Canada this fall? We'll have to wait and see.

Bungie and Google give you a sneak peek of the worlds in ‘Destiny’

Just a few days ahead of its September 9 release, Bungie is creating more hype for its game with its collaboration with Google Maps team. They have partnered to create a fictional map of Destiny’s world they call Destiny Planet View. You will be able to browse through the three main locations featured in the game—the Moon, Mars, and Venus. While it will only give you a partial view of the worlds, we think it’ll be enough to drum up further excitement about the game for those who are waiting for it.
