HP to sell Leap Motion-powered keyboards

If you have US$99 to spare and want to get your hands on some Leap Motion-powered gear, HP plans to sell Leap keyboards separately. You don’t have to buy the company’s All-In-Ones anymore to play around with the technology. The keyboards will work with any Windows 7 or 8 machine as long as the software is installed. It will reportedly be sold starting this month.

Facebook updates Messenger for Windows Phone

Facebook is playing catch up with its Messenger app for Windows Phone and has brought some nifty features already available on Android and iOS. Some of the new capabilities include the ability to share photos directly after shooting and the Groups tab. This tab lets users create, manage, and talk to multiple people at the same time. You can also pin groups to the Start screen for easier access to them. You can download Facebook Messenger here.

Telus Unveils Toronto's First Corporate Urban Garden

During National Environmental Week, Telus unveiled Toronto's first corporate urban garden to generate fresh, local, organic produce for charitable organizations in the Greater Toronto Area. The garden is located at the Telus House, a LEED Gold-certified office in the downtown core. 

As part of their corporate commitment to a healthier work space and ongoing commitment to the community, volunteer Telus staff will tend to the garden year-round and sell their harvest to the staff in exchange for donations to be made to local charities.
