Samsung Galaxy S3 to reportedly receive Android KitKat update

The Galaxy S3 wasn’t included in the official list released by Samsung to receive the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update. But according to a leaked document shown by Android Headlines, the older Galaxy device will receive the update sometime around April or May. The Galaxy S3 was not included in the list because it had low memory, which was said to be unsuitable for the 4.4.2 update. But seems Samsung had a change of heart.

Nikon evolves new 1 V3 mirrorless camera for prosumers

Nikon's been the Johnny-come-lately of the mirrorless camera set. Its small and consumer-focused Nikon 1 line has gone for small sizes, cutesy colours and a simple approach to taking great photos. This all changes with the new Nikon 1 V3 which is decidedly prosumer-focused. The Nikon 1 V3  sports a built-in viewfinder, a new 18.4MP , built-in WiFi, 1080/60p video capability plus can manage an unprecedented 20 frames per second shooting for stills and 120 frames per second slow motion video. The 1 V3 with a grip and 10-30mm kit lens will retail for IS $1,200.00 this April. Exciting stuff!
