You can also receive unlimited free calls from loved ones through a free Canadian phone number and save around 30% to 40% on international calls with the app. Payment is through Google Wallet or have it charged to your cellular phone bill. You can connect through Wi-Fi, 4G, or 3G with the app.

Twitter adds image cropping and rotating capabilities to Android app

Twitter is looking to offer a richer multimedia experience by adding the ability to crop and rotate images in the Android app. You are also encouraged to interact with friends when uploading photos as an @ mention reminder will appear when you choose to upload a photo. Discovering latest trends and events is also easier with the new update. Your timeline will load recommended tweets, suggested accounts, and trending topics when there are no new tweets to load. The new features will supposedly be “coming soon” to iOS version.

Soundwave adds comments and hashtag feature to mobile apps

Music discovery platform Soundwave has finally brought the requested commenting feature to its iOS and Android apps with the latest update it rolled out. The company designed the new feature to make it easier for users to talk to each other on the app. Users can be tagged in the comments section with a hashtag. Comment hashtag also serve the purpose of grouping similar songs together.
