Dailymotion redesigns Android app, introduces full video and search history support and other features

Dailymotion just updated its Android app to offer new light and dark themes and other layout changes. The app also now offers better support for tablet use and supposedly faster and more stable video player and sync functionality. There is also support for full video and search history, new navigation drawer, Android KitKat support, and option to login or sign up through Facebook.

Samsung sends out invites for Tizen event at MWC

Samsung is looking to debut Tizen operating system at next month’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. Ubergizmo reports the invites for a Tizen event on February 23 have been sent out. Perhaps will get to see some of big Korean carriers such as KT, SK Telecom, and LG U+ to help Samsung show off the Tizen-powered devices.

StumbleUpon-owned video recommendation service 5by has officially launched mobile apps for iOS and Android-powered devices. The app recommends videos according to various factors such as time of day and mood or situation you are in. You can even filter videos according to length. The company claims the app will adapt to users’ preference over time to personalize video recommendations further.
