The rumours were true. Meta is planning to launch a Twitter Blue-like subscription service called Meta Verified. It'll be coming to both Facebook and Instagram. Mark Zuckerberg said the feature is "about increasing authenticity and security across our services." Now, whether people will be willing to pay for that is a different question. Meta plans to introduce the feature in Australia and New Zealand first.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE might debut in August 2023

Source: Samsung

Samsung might be bringing back its "Fan Edition" version of its flagship phones. A Korean outlet claims that Samsung is likely to launch a Samsung Galaxy S23 Fan Edition smartphone sometime in August or September. Samsung first introduced an "FE" handset in 2020, with the Galaxy S20 and followed by the S21. But the supply chain uncertainties and production issues brought about by the pandemic meant there was no Galaxy S22 FE. If this rumour is true, though, Samsung might be ready to revive this product line. We don't know much about what the Fan Edition version of the S23 will get. But if we follow Samsung's previous strategy, we can expect top-of-the-line specs with a more affordable price tag.
