Lenovo officially unveils their "Yoga" lineup of multi-mode tablets

At long-last, and continuing on the successful path of their Yoga line-up of convertable laptops, computer maker Lenovo officially unveiled their new lineup of Yoga multi-mode tablets.

Launching in 16 and 32GB iterations, the game-changing Yoga Tablet features three unique modes, giving consumers a better way to use a tablet. With hold, tilt and stand modes, the tablet adapts to the way people use it instead of forcing people to adapt to the technology.

Rogers announces rugged Android-powered CatB15 smartphone, coming next month

To all our friends whose job is demanding, and demand a device that will stand-up to the harshest of conditions: Rogers sees you and appreciates you. This is why, beginning next month, they will start selling the Android-powered ruggedized CatB15, made by Caterpillar - yes that Caterpillar, smartphone. 

The device comes with a 4-inch WVGA screen with wet finger tracking, a 2000mAh removable battery, pentaband 3G support, a dual-core 1Ghz processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB internal storage, a 5MP camera, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi, GPS and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Of course, it’s also IP67 compliant, making it completely waterproof for up to one metre for 30 minutes, and drop resistant up to 1.8 metres (6ft) onto concrete. It’s also rated for extreme temperature use between -20C and 55C. All for $99 on a 2-year term, the device is worth every penny for the construction site. 

Rogers doesn't say when exactly it will launch, but don't worry my Facebook-loving roughnecks, it's coming!

Instagram coming to Nokia Lumia in the coming weeks

Nokia Lumia Windows Phone users who have been clamouring for the real Instagram app have cause to celebrate. It seems that thanks to insistent public demand to get the popular photo sharing app on Windows Phone (and on photography-centric Nokia devices, specifically), Instagram has promised to have a proper version available in the coming weeks. Nokia USA tweeted the above image saying "Thanks to you, Instagram is arriving on Nokia#Lumia in the coming weeks." Nokia created the #2instaWithLove app to prove to Instagram that Lumia users were passionate and deserving of Instagram. Credit them and the users for persistence.

Google joins the Halloween fun with Knowledge Graph easter eggs

We’re indulging in more Halloween festivities here at Canadian Reviewer with news on Halloween easter eggs from Google. Seems you type in queries—like “ghost,” “witch,” “skeleton,” “grim reaper,” and “evil robots”—and Google will reward you with some interesting results.  There are supposedly more Halloween-related easter eggs out there so let us know if you find anything else.
