Google Maps iOS update adds tips for newbies, in-line route previews

Google upgrades its Maps app for Apple devices to add mini route previews with traffic overlays, a Tips and Tricks section for beginners, as well as full language support for Arabic and Hebrew.

YouTube for iOS update includes ability to select video quality over Wi-Fi

YouTube has released version 2.2.0 for its iOS app with new features and upgrades. Users can now choose video quality of clips they watch over Wi-Fi. There are also some unspecified accessibility and iOS 7 compatibility upgrades.

Vimeo upgrades Pro accounts with 1TB storage per year

Vimeo Pro users have received a large storage increase from the streaming site. Those who pay $199 annually now receive 20GB of storage a week, amounting to 1TB annually. This is compared to the previous 50GB cap per year for Pro storage. The company also removed a few playback restrictions, gave full access to Vimeo’s On Demand store, and bolstered customer service support.
