Linksys releases new routers for the Canadian market

Linksys fired a salvo of new routers to be available in Canada.  The Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Router AC 1200, model EA6300, and the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Router AC 1600, model EA6400, are available immediately.  The new routers can be installed through browser based set-up and with Linksys SimpleTap. Moreover, consumers can  connect new devices to the home network through innovative ways such as scanning a QR code or NFC tag.

The Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Router AC 1200 Advanced Multimedia, EA6300, $139.99 MSRP, and the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Router AC 1600 Video Enthusiast, EA6400, $169.99 MSRP, are available immediately on Linksys.com and at participating retailers.Hit jump for more details.

Google Now is now available on iOS devices

The Google invasion of iOS continues with the much anticipated Google Now search service becoming available to iPhone and iPad users. Users who update the Google Search app today will be greeted by a tutorial and an entirely new set of search tools as well as the Cards interface that pull's up sports scores, distance and GPS information, news items, nearby destinations  and other location and predictive search based info.
