This program aims to provide nutritious food to kids in need during the summer months when school-based lunch programs end. This initiative supports 190 communities across the country.

Xiaomi's new concept phone can attach an interchangeable Leica M lens

Source: Xiaomi

When Xiaomi developed its camera-centric Xiaomi 12S Ultra phone, it was also exploring the idea of making it an even more powerful camera smartphone. And we got a peek at it recently through the Xiaomi 12S Ultra Concept Phone. It shares the appearance of its namesake but adds an additional 1-inch 50.3-megapixel sensor to its main one. This new sensor occupies the middle of the camera island, and it's built to work with an interchangeable Leica M lens. Yes, you can attach a camera lens to this concept phone.

This 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor is kept underneath a large, circular piece of durable sapphire glass instead of cutting out an opening like you'd see in traditional interchangeable lens cameras. With this design, the 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera gets repositioned to the side, taking up the space where a 48-megapixel periscopic telephoto camera was placed.

Facebook's Professional Mode is now available to all creators

Source: Meta

Meta initially launched its Professional Mode with select creators in December 2021. But now, it's opening access to the feature globally to help creators build their presence in the app. Professional Mode is like Pages for businesses, allowing creators to separate their personal Facebook profiles from one where they can promote their work and build an audience.

Professional Mode offers access to analytics, monetization tools, and, for regions where it's available, Meta's Reels Play bonus program and Stars for audience donations. Meta is also testing new in-stream ads for creator content, which you can access through this feature, and post-scheduling options, among others.

These are Netflix Canada's plans now

With the launch of its ad-supported tier, we get a new pricing structure for Netflix's plans. Starting with the cheapest and newest Basic With Ads plan, this goes for $5.99 per month with support for 720p resolution across your devices. Aside from getting ads, the content will be more limited than the ad-free tiers, and you can't download content for offline viewing. Then there's the Basic plan that's ad-free and costs $9.99 per month.

If you want 1080p resolution, you should opt for the Standard plan for $16.49. And then you can get the best resolution through the Premium plan, which supports 4K+HDR resolution for $20.99 per month. To switch accounts, head to Account in the top right corner. There's a Plan Details section there and the option to change plans.
