YouTube Music finally gets multi-select on web app

A basic music app feature is finally coming to YouTube Music, at least on the web. YouTube has added a multi-select option on the music.youtube.com web page. There is now a checkbox at the right when you're in list view. The feature presumably appears when you hover over a song. It remains visible after at least one selection is made. You then get options at the bottom of the screen for tasks like adding to a playlist or queue alongside an overflow menu.

However, it doesn't look like the feature is rolled out to all web users. And it's unclear if mobile versions of YouTube Music have it already. But we're hoping Google rolls that out sooner rather than later.

This change will affect what it calls the "disruptive" sites. It is unclear if it will be similar to the existing lists of sites you may have quieted or if this is a separate deterrent. As 9to5Google noted, it looks like Google just wants to keep Chrome spam-free.
