Pinterest wants to make it easier for its users to access menstrual health-related materials and products. The increasing demand for menstrual information led to the company pushing to make resources more readily available to its users.

The app introduces a new menstrual-focused page on Today's Inspiration featuring resources and curated creator content. There's also a new Period Proud shopping resource for shoppable access to period products available in Canada. The site has also partnered with Canadian lifestyle creators like Letitia Kiu and Kaya Marriott to continue the work on destigmatizing period education.

Netflix, Spotify can now link to their sites for payments on iOS

Apple is now giving "reader" apps on its platform the option to link to their website for payment and account management. The company defines reader apps as applications that "provide previously purchased content or content subscriptions for digital magazines, newspapers, books, audio, music, and video."

Clubhouse gets a protected profiles option

Clubhouse gives users more protection over their profiles, restricting others from seeing their latest interactions on the app. The feature comes as a response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The company wants to ensure users feel safe having conversations on the app. Only your followers can see your user activity when you have the protected profile enabled. Any other user will have to ask permission to follow you. And the rooms, clubs, and replays you've joined won't be visible to the public, too. 

The company confirmed the feature on the website, saying it's meant to prevent users, especially Russians, from being harmed for speaking out against the war on the internet. This feature will also make users "less visible on Clubhouse in general." So, those who don't follow you won't see you online, and your profile won't be recommended to others in the app. Of course, Clubhouse wants to remind its users to be careful about what they put on their profiles and what they say in conversations.

Android explores adding built-in Bluetooth tracker detection

The rise in popularity of Bluetooth trackers has spawned an unfortunate side effect. Bad actors have found ways to use these devices to track others' movements without their knowledge. Companies like Apple and Tile try to combat these with apps, but as Engadget pointed out, you'll need to scan for these manually if you're on Android. And that process can take around 10 minutes to happen.

9to5Google says the Android team has begun working on a tracker detection feature built into Play services. The recent APK code references Tile trackers and "ATag" (possibly AirTags), hinting that Android users may ring these devices. The feature is said to be in early development, and it's uncertain if it gets publicly released. It will be helpful if the company decides to push through with it.
