TikTok tests bringing Stories into For You video feed

Source: Matt Navarra (screenshot)

TikTok users, have you taken the time to view Stories on the platform? Yes? No? I don't either. So, that might be why the social network is testing out a way to show Stories on your For You feed. Social media consultant Matt Navarra shares a few details about this experiment, showing a video of a Story appearing on the For You page with a blue Story tag at the top of the user name.

TikTok's Story is similar to how it works on other social networks. The post vanishes after 24 hours. As 9to5Mac pointed out, the company calls the feature Quick within the camera mode. But since TikTok is just testing the feature out now, we aren't sure if the company plans to make it available to everyone. We had seen it try a repost option last month, but that doesn't look like it's rolled out to all users yet.

Apple's digital car keys tipped to work with Hyundai, Genesis models this summer

Source: Apple

Apple's digital car key feature might unlock more than a few BMW models. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reports in his latest newsletter that Hyundai and its premium Genesis brand will support Apple CarKey "by the summer." It isn't known what models might support the feature, but as Engadget pointed out, some trim levels of the Ioniq 5 and other Hyundai models have NFC for a digital key, which is currently proprietary.

If the leak is accurate, then Hyundai and Genesis owners will have an easier way to unlock their vehicles. They just need to bring the phone or Apple Watch to the door handle to unlock it. Those using ultra-wideband iPhones (like the iPhone 11 and newer) can keep their phone in their pockets when opening and starting the car.
