HP introduces Fortis G10, first 14" rugged Chromebook with 4G LTE

HP recently launched a new line of laptops built for blended learning environments. One of the new machines is what the company says is the first 14-inch rugged Chromebook for education that comes with 4G LTE.  

The HP Fortis G10 Chromebook is purpose-built for cloud-native learning. It runs on Intel Celeron or Intel Pentium processors and has a 180-degree lay-flat hinge. And for online, collaborative learning, there's an 88-degree wide-viewing angle HD camera and dual mics. For privacy purposes, the Fortis G10 Chromebook also has a Privacy Camera. And its Chrome Education Upgrade makes it easy to manage and deploy these machines. It has up to 128GB of storage and up to 8GB of RAM. Display options go up to 1080p resolution for the 14-inch display.

This Waze feature makes it easier to spot unplowed roads

If you want to make your journey out on a snowy day easier, Waze has a Snow Warning feature you can use. Snow Warning will let you know if you're approaching an unplowed road. You can also report this as you would other hazards in the app. All you have to do is click on Hazards > Weather > Unplowed road.

Microsoft to acquire Activision Blizzard for almost US$70B

Microsoft's newest acquisition is bound to shake things up in the gaming industry. The company will purchase Activision Blizzard for US$68.7 billion in an all-cash transaction. This acquisition makes Microsoft the world's third-largest gaming company by revenue (behind Tencent and Sony).

The company will own every studio and game under Activision Blizzard, including popular franchises like World of Warcraft, Call of Duty, Diablo, Overwatch, Crash Bandicoot, and more.

Here's your first look at Marvel's 'Moon Knight'

Marvel's newest anti-hero is coming to Disney+ real soon. And the first trailer for Moon Knight is here. Based on the character of the same name, the new series follows Marc Spector (played by Oscar Isaac), an ex-Marine and CIA agent suffering from a dissociative identity disorder. He finds himself sharing a body with a mild-mannered gift-shop employee Steven Grant and the vicious vigilante Moon Knight, who serves as an avatar for the Egyptian moon god Khonshu. 

The trailer focuses more on Steven talking about his insomnia and how he can't tell the difference between his waking life and dreams, especially as he gets glimpses of disturbing visions. There's not much in terms of a plot, but that's expected.
