How to choose the right business technology

It’s not always easy to choose the right technology for your business. Do you go for the affordable option? Or do you go all out and spend big? This guide will answer those questions and more.

Check your business needs

Before you do anything else, you need to establish what objectives your business needs to achieve. What problems are you trying to solve? What products or services does your company provide that will be enhanced by technology? You need to clearly set out what it is that you’re looking for from the selected technology.

Once you have established this, you can choose the right company to work with. If you’re working in IT yourself or have a small business, it will be difficult for you to cover all of the bases you need to when evaluating different technology options. That’s why finding an IT partner is sometimes your best option. A professional IT consultancy can carry out extensive research on your behalf to find you the perfect solution.

Apple's rumoured AR headset tipped to enter mass production in Q2 2022

We might be seeing Apple's augmented reality headset soon. A new translated report from the Taiwanese version of DigiTimes claims the headset will enter mass production in the second quarter of 2022, with a launch expected between the third and fourth quarter of the same year. And you can expect to pay a hefty price, somewhere between US$2,000 and $3,000.

The new report says Apple's AR headset has completed its second phase of prototype testing. This first iteration of the AR headset is expected to be on the bulky side, similar to the Oculus Rift headset. But we should expect to see the sleeker "Apple Glasses" soon.
