Apple's new iMac is thinner and bright colour options

Apple has finally updated its iMac with an eye-catching new look that's a throwback to the original iMac's classic, colourful design. According to the company, this new iMac was built from the ground up for the M1 chip. 

It has a slimmer 24-inch 4.5K display with thinner borders around the edges, except for a still prominent chin. The rear of the iMac is now flat, reducing its volume by over 50 percent. It also comes in seven different colours.

Athlete Tech Group, BlackMINT, RBC Future Launch debut tech mentorship program for Black Canadian youth

Athlete Tech Group (ATG), together with BlackMint and RBC Future Launch, has just introduced a new technology mentorship program for Canadian Black youth. Rising Star will kick off this summer, offering 30 Canadian high school students a chance to join the nine-month mentorship program. The initiative focuses on technological literacy and skill development.

Rising Star's goal is to offer Black students the opportunity to learn about data science, video game design, cloud computing, and many more to help prepare them for future careers. Industry experts from BlackMINT and professional athletes from ATG will serve as mentors for the program. They will lead and support the students through modules, workshops, and original content, checking in on their progress weekly.
