LG is no longer in the smartphone business

We're going to have to say goodbye to these unusual smartphone designs from LG

The Korean giant has confirmed it will no longer make new smartphones. LG Electronics is closing its mobile business unit. Its decision was approved by its board of directors early Monday morning in Seoul. 

The company plans to "focus resources in growth areas such as electric vehicle components, connected devices, smart homes, robotics, artificial intelligence and business-to-business solutions, as well as platforms and services."

'LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga' gets delayed indefinitely

 

It's been 16 years since the first LEGO Star Wars game, but it looks like the wait is going to be much longer for its follow-up. Developer TT Games released a statement on Twitter saying, "we won't be able to make our intended Spring release date" for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. That was already a delayed target release since its original 2020 launch window. But it looks like the developer's "biggest and best-ever LEGO game" needs a bit more time.

Microsoft pushes back full reopening to at least September

While the COVID-19 pandemic still rages on, Microsoft is joining other tech companies in pushing back their office reopenings to later this year. Microsoft's full reopening was initially scheduled for July, but now it has been moved to at least September 7. According to a Microsoft spokesperson, the reschedule is its response to "continued consultation with health and data experts."

Marvel Studios releases new 'Black Widow' trailer

 

A new trailer for Marvel Studios' upcoming Black Widow movie shows us both Natasha Romanoff's (Scarlett Johansson) legacy as a member of the Avengers and what happened to her before that. It gives us a better peek into her family and how she's faced the darkest parts of her ledger.

Black Widow gets a theatrical and Disney+ release on July 9. If you're watching it on Disney's streaming service, you'll need to pay for Premier Access.
