Source: MacRumors

Aside from working on a rumoured MagSafe battery pack, Apple was reportedly talking about allowing reverse wireless charging for its mobile devices like the Apple Watch, iPhone, and AirPods. The initial plan was supposed to have the "2019 iPhone" (we assume means the iPhone 11 series) to charge AirPods at the phone's back. But that didn't happen.

According to MacRumorsthe iPhone 12 does have the technology to enable reverse wireless charging, with the phone acting as the charging pad for products like the AirPods and Apple Watch. But it's not available for now. Apple's rival Samsung already enables this feature with its flagship devices.
