Beck Taxi supports MADD Canada with re-loadable Card Launch

Paying for a Beck Taxi just got easier as Beck announces the launch of Beck Bucks, a fully re-loadable card and secure payment solution for Toronto passengers.

The card launch and holiday campaign aim to give back in support of renowned charity Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD Canada). How it works: One hundred Toronto women in business will receive complimentary pay-and-go Beck Bucks cards and Beck Buck hats and scarves.

For every tweet to @BeckTaxi @MADDcanada #BuckBecks made in the Beck Buck winter wear, a donation will be made to assist and cease impaired driving this holiday season.

"We're excited to partner with MADD Canada in order to raise awareness and help Torontonians get home safely this holiday season," Kristine Hubbard, Operations Manager at Beck Taxi.

Review: Kyocera DuraForce tough smartphone

This is the Bear Grylls of smartphones and while its middling specs are more than enough for most applications, build quality and design really make this the only tough Android smartphone worth considering for serious outdoor and construction applications.

The tough-smarphone market isn't all that big. Aside from great looking devices that happen to be dust and water resistant like Sony's Xperia Z line, we also get tough variants of existing smartphones like the recently reviewed Samsung Galaxy S5 Active. These devices pale in comparison with smartphones designed from the ground up for use in extreme conditions. Kyocera's DuraForce isn't a slim phone pretending to be a tough device, it is clearly a bruiser that's built to survive.
