Motorola just launched the Moto E smartphone for $179.99 geared to replace feature phones in price but adding various features and connectivity. Motorola is also updating the Moto G smartphone, now with 4G-LTE on Rogers and Fido as well as a microSD card slot for productivity.
Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 8:20AM Motorola's new Moto E smartphone is its cheapest device yet but brings in a number of features designed to bring the best of Android to the entry level and emerging markets. Expeected to be cheaper than the Moto G, which is now packing 4G-LTE, the Moto E is said to cost US $125.00 and features a 4.3-inch qHD Gorilla Glass 3 display (960 x 540 resolution and 256 pixel per inch ratio), 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, Adreno 302 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of storage, microSD support, 5-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, FM radio, dual-SIM option 1980mAh battery and Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Accessories and various replaceable backs are expected as well.

ASUS announced two new Chrome OS laptops powered by latest energy-efficient Intel Bay Trail-M processors. Available in two screen sizes — the 11.6-inch C200 model and 13.3-inch C300 — ASUS Chromebooks are designed for outstanding mobility and feature up to 10 hours battery life for all-day use.
