Apple firing on all cylinders to commemorate Earth Day

Apple is taking Earth Day as an opportunity to really focus on the environment. Retail Store Logos have a touch of green and even employee uniforms are celebrating the event. Aside from a new section on their website and a print campaign, Apple is doing all it can to drum up the importance of the environment. Waterloo uses BlackBerry tech to mobilize disaster recovery efforts during emergencies

After seeing Toronto’s recent issues with flooding, the City of Waterloo created a better way to centralize communications with the disaster recovery teams (transportation team, parks and forestry teams etc.) on the ground, the mayor, the head of public works and other incident groups. They found communicating via email made communications disjointed and delayed.
