Apple today announced that iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c will be available to customers on Friday, September 20 at 8:00 a.m. local time at Apple retail stores and at 3:01 a.m. EDT at the Apple Online Store (www.apple.ca). iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c will be available in the US, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the UK.

Today's the day to pre-order the new iPhone 5c in time for the September 20 release date. Apple Canada is taking orders for the green, blue, yellow, pink, and white models in either 16GB ($599) or 32GB ($719) capacities. These will be unlocked versions that can be used on any supporting carrier. Apple cites delivery times for pre-orders placed today at around 9/20-9/24. If the gold, silver or space grey colours of the flagship iPhone 5s are more your thing, you'll have to wait until September 20 to order or join the lines at Apple Retails stores and Canadian carriers.

Canadian Carriers now have their pre-order pages up. Rogers, Bell Mobility and Telus. Telus is the only one with pricing right now for the iPhone 5c, which starts at $129.99 for the 16GB version on a two-year plan and $229.00 for the $32GB version on a two-year plan.
