Phablet Redux: Samsung Galaxy Note 2 announced

I have just heard from Telus, Videotron and Mobilicity that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is slated for Canadian release. The Note 2 features a new 1.6GHz quad core processor, a larger 140.9 mm (5.55") HD Super AMOLED (1,280 x 720) display, 16/32/64GB User memory + 2GB (RAM) and microSD expansion. It also has an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 1.9 megapixelf front-facing camera. The Note 2 will ship in the fall, no pricing has yet been revealed.

Samsung Canada celebrates 25 years by launching Galaxy Note 10.1

Samsung celebrates 25 years in Canada by launching the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. A hybrid of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the Galaxy Note, the $499 tablet features the ability to view apps in split-screen mode, the use of the Samsung S-Pen on included Samsung apps and all the benefits of a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The Note 10.1 is WiFi only, and should be available in Staples and other popular places where tablets are sold.
