Nokia Lumia 920 coming to Rogers in November 

Nokia and Rogers today announced that the Nokia Lumia 920 will be exclusively available to Rogers' customers in November, adding its name to the global list of wireless operators selling the Windows Phone 8 device. No pricing has been released.

"Rogers is proud to bring the new Nokia Lumia 920 to our customers looking for the best unified experience and to further extend our leadership as the carrier with the largest LTE superphone selection in Canada," said John Boynton of Rogers Communications. "With seamless access to entertainment, sports and business content, the Nokia Lumia 920 offers customers a world leading internet experience powered by the Rogers LTE network."

Microsoft Stores in malls and pop-up holiday stores to open on October 26th

Microsoft has officially confirmed that the holiday stores will open on Friday, October 26th.  The Microsoft pop-up holiday stores located in the Toronto Eaton Centre, West Edmonton Mall, Oakridge Centre in Vancouver and the Burnaby Metropolis will open to the public. Additional details about the holiday stores will be made available soon, but feel free to check out the Microsoft Store website for more information in the meantime.

Apple CEO Tim Cook issues apology for Maps lapse

Apple's CEO Tim Cook issued an apology to customers who may have experienced issues with the new Maps app that comes standard with iOS 6. In a letter on Apple.com, Cook stated that more than 100 million devices were already using the app, which have searched half a billion locations.

Cook's letter, which can be found in full after the break, promises that Maps will get better and gives users the option to download "map apps from the App Store like Bing, MapQuest and Waze, or use Google or Nokia maps by going to their websites and creating an icon on your home screen to their web app."
