Review: Apple TV 4K

Apple is finally bringing the Apple TV into the 4K HDR present, making their erstwhile 'hobby' and set-top box compatible with the latest Ultra HD and 4K capable TVs.

The latest update finally gives the Apple TV parity with rival devices like the Roku 4, Chromecast Ultra and Amazon Fire TV. This means that videos coming from the Apple TV will show up in full 4K resolution, and if they are compatible with the HDR (High Dynamic Range) standard, will show the added detail and saturation.

Review: Fitbit Flyer

Fitbit has created a sporty Bluetooth headset to accompany its Fitbit Ionic smartwatch.

Being the first audio product from Fitbit, I had some reservations about the Flyer and wondered about things like fit, finish and sound quality.

I was pleasantly surprised when the Fitbit Flyer fit me right out of the box without me needing to attach any of the included rubber earpieces. Not only did it fit well, I found that I didn’t suffer stress or pain wearing it for a prolonged period of time.

I’ve tested a lot of these Bluetooth headphones and fit has always been a sticking point. So far, the Jabra Coach headphones have been the best I’ve tried in terms of comfort and sound, but the Fitbit Flyer fits better and I can wear them for a longer period of time because they're comfortable and because they last longer.

Review: Fitbit Ionic

Fitbit is the leading wearable company in the world. It has outlasted the competition in the entry-level and mid-range with a succession of truly transformative fitness trackers backed by the industry's best analytics and most comprehensive apps.

The only area where Fitbit has seemeed lacking has been in the higher end. The Fitbit Blaze was sorely lacking many of the touchpoints that made smartwatches popular. While it had the tracking aspect nailed, it didn't offer much in terms of apps and other functionality. Now we have the Fitbit Ionic, which leapfrogs its predecessor in many ways.
